Marcio Alaor: Netflix Expands it Global Presence

Netflix, the streaming video service provider, is making moves to accelerate its growth in the year 2016. The company is quickly extending its video on demand streaming service to more countries around the world which has already started since the new year began. In a short period of time, the company has nearly doubled its coverage area and more expansion is anticipated in the coming months. Netflix is counting on customers to remain loyal to its brand which is a big part of the companies growth expectations.

Marcio Alaor, of Banco BMG reports that Netfilx is now servicing more than 130 countries in total. This is more than double the amount of countries than Netflix offered its services in the year 2015. The expansion of video streaming services to other countries is possible but the United States has been reluctant to allow the video company to operate in some countries such as North Korea and Crimea because of political reasons. Netflix wants to enter the Chinese market in the year 2016, reports Marcio Alaor, but this may not be allowed either.

Netflix thinks that its subscriber base will grow significantly in India because of the countries large population size. India is a great new market for the company. In India, there is already a strong movie and film entertainment industry. The infrastructure and talent is already there. Netflix will look to work with local talent to produce films, according to Marcio Alaor of Banco BMG. The company then plans to show Bollywood inspired films globally and to the local market. However, India is notorious for movie piracy. This could limit Netflix growth in the country if people choose not to pay for their productions or their movies are sold illegally. This is something to pay attention as Netflix expands there.

Netflix has several program series such as “House of Cards” among others that demonstrate the company is capable of creating its own video content, notes the executive of Banco BMG. Netflix will invest in other in-house projects in 2016 with a projected budget of about 5 billion dollars, says Marcio Alaor. The company has just released a full length movie about the civil war.

Brazilian Bank Ricardo Guimarães Thinks Brazil’s Biggest Export Customer’s Currency Devaluation Will Hurt The China’s Economy in 2016

China’s weak economy is the culprit that sent Brazil into the worst recession in more than 100 years. Slower Chinese demand for Brazilian products has impacted Brazilian exports, and the country can’t seem to get its exporting mojo back. Ricardo Guimarães, the President of BMG Bank, sat down for an interview with Portal.Comunique and told the interviewer that the China situation isn’t going to get any better in 2016.

Mr. Guimarães believes the Chinese yuan is going to lose value against the dollar and that will hurt Chinese consumers. Guimarães said China exports figure may improve, but their import needs will be less than they were in 2015, and that’s bad news for Brazil.

Brazil’s economy is at a crossroads, according to Mr. Guimarães. The government will have to inject money into the Brazilian economy by way of consumers if they want the country to shake off the two-year-old recession that is plaguing the country. Guimarães wants the government to invest in small businesses and middle-class consumers the same way he invested in Brazilian soccer clubs. The ceremony was attended by most senior town people including the mayor. She knew how badly he needed the money and how important it was for him. Today he is a testament to the power of hard work and is one of the businessmen in Brazil.

 

Marcio was excited to be rewarded. It emphasized the services he has provided for the city. During an interview with the Journal of Santo Antonio do Monte, Marcio stressed the importance of communicating and putting friendships first. He said that bonds, especially those one builds in the city should be put ahead of money.

It is in recognition of the services he has provided for the town of Santo Antonio do Monte which is his hometown. It was an event attended by local authorities and politicians. In his speech, Mr. Luís Antônio Resende thanked Marcio Alaor for his help. Speaking on behalf of the countryside, he thanked him for his work on the exhibition center and how he did not ignore the city’s problems or try to exchange his services for political favors.Wilmar Son praised him for changing the location from the former grain warehouse to a bigger place food court place. The former mayor was elated the food court was the place to be named after him given his role in transforming small business in the area. Many people in Santo Antonio do Monte have small food-based businesses.
Marcio Alaor himself was excited for his being honored. He told of his rise from a humble shoe shiner boy to be the Vice President of Banco BMG as a miracle that can happen to all. The entrepreneur talked of how his love for the city and want to thank those who helped him drives him to do what he does. He was honored to be recognized while still alive, unlike others who award the dead. It was a privilege he added. He also thanked his family and friends and promised to continue serving his city. He said he will never lose contact, and the affection the city has showed for him brings closer to the city and the people in it.
Local officials were there to see the opening of the food court and honor him. The food court named MARCIO ALAOR DE ARAUJO was inaugurated on the 24th of August 2014 and will greatly serve the local community. It was opened during the 33rd edition of the Expose Samonte which essentially is the Holy agricultural exhibition at Santo Antonio do Monte.This center is expected to open up the Santo Antonio do Monte county side and help its rural farmers.It was recently named as the biggest milk producer in the Central West of Minas Gerais state, a feat tied directly to sons of the soil here.The rural Union president Vilmar Octavian, while presenting him with a Plague to honor his commitment to the city thanked him for this effort. He recognized it was of great benefit to the local community.
