When it comes to dental practice, there are very few names you can say to match up that of the award winning dentist Avi Weisfogel. He started his dental practice in his hometown New Jersey by opening Old Bridge Dental Care. Avi Weisfogel attended the Rutgers University where he graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology. He later enrolled for a Dentist degree-DDS at the New York University College of Dentistry where he studied his current practice. Nearly five years ago, Avi Weisfogel started the “Healthy Heart Slew,” with an aim of helping medical practitioners learn about how to help people with sleeping problems. He also started Owner Unlimited Sleep Patients three years ago, where he lectured other dentists on sleep apnea and its associated complications. Two years after this, he started Dental Sleep Masters with an aim of teaching other dentists on how different oral devices can be used to solve sleep problems. He also wanted to show them how dental health and sleep problems are closely related. As a philanthropist, Avi Weisfogal started the GoFund Me page to help the Operation Smile charity’s course. He was motivated to start this course after looking at the achievements of the organization. Through the GoFund Me, he has worked with Operation Smile charity to help children born with deformities such as cleft palates and cleft lips access medical help. Equipped with a team of volunteer staff that is made up of doctors, nurses and other medical practitioners they have managed to help hundred of children access professional surgical help. Avi Weisfogal through his organization, GoFund Me has also donated surgical equipment to various children’s hospitals around the world to facilitate free surgery. In this way, he has been able to put a smile on may children’s faces who were affected with oral deformities.
