Best Franchisee of the World, a title that holds a significant amount of meaning for anyone who is awarded. Omar Yunes would know, as he was named Best Franchisee of the World in the 2015 event that took place in Florence, Italy. Omar Yunes gained international recognition at this event and went home with the first place title. Franchisees from all across the world were in attendance, they came from places like Portugal, Mexico, France, Hungary, and Spain. For the first time ever, two men from Mexico were awarded and one of them received the highest award.

Generally, franchisees are judged on the same characteristics every year. They look at what kind of knowledge franchisees are pouring into the company, how much savings they can create, how they motivate employees to work, and what type of improvements they have made to the system. Omar Yunes successfully demonstrated great results on all of these fields over the past few years. He is said to of revolutionized the type of relationship a franchisee traditionally has with its franchise. This in turn has helped Yunes gain better control and manage all of his units.

Omar Yunes is currently the franchisee of Sushi Itto and has been since the ripe age of 21. When he first became franchisee, he owned only one unit. Mexico’s second representative at the Best Franchise of the World event was Ivan Tamer. He is franchisee of a network of Pawnshops found around Mexico. Ivan Tamer won an award at the BFW competition for the tools he created to help implement a new marketing system. This system has shown tremendous success with Prendamex, that other companies and similar business already want to simulate the model. Successful franchisee and entrepreneur Omar Yunes was recently named Best Franchisee of The World in 2015s BFW Competition. The competition is held at an international level and takes place every single year. Countries who decide to take part in the event first hold their own regional competitions as a way to decide who they want to send to represent their country. The main objective is to reward and recognize the work of diffferent franchisees and to show each other the unique styles and personality that each leader is able to bring to the brand. Judges of the event evaluate each Franchisee in different areas. The number one winner of the Best Franchisee of The World event was none of their Than Mexico’s very own Omar Yunes. Yunes is the first Franchisee from Mexico sent to represent the country and to top it all off he walked away with the first place prize. Omar Yunes first took control of the franchise Sushi Itto at age 21 by purchasing a single restaurant. As of today, he owns and manages about 13 different units. These units are spread all across Mexico in places like Vera Cruz, Puebla, and Mexico City. One of the judges from the event, Diego Elizarrarras, commented on the reasoning behind Omar Yunes being chosen as the winner. He said that his uniqe personality and leadership style had a positive impact on his overall relationship with the brand. His role as Franchisee of Sushi Itto was anything but traditional. Omar Yunes was also able to implement better management programs and ended up improving the quality of customer service that the brand was use to offering.

A second winner of Best Franchisee of The World was Iván Tamer. He is also a native Mexican Franchisee who owns a network of pawnshops call Prendamex. He implemented a new marketing system and succesfully boosted the sales for the company.

A disappearing message at the bottom says that the person watching the video can wait until the video starts but the woman being abused cannot do so. The video ends by asking everyone who watches the ad to denounce female violence and to fight against it.
